The Manage Knowledge Base (KB) screen allows you to view all KB articles and filter the ones you need. Use the Search box to find specific KB articles quickly. You can also customize the displayed columns to show only the data most relevant to you.
Knowledge Base articles can be viewed from the option located under Help Desk.
Each button's purpose/functionality is described below:
Columns: When you click the Columns button, it shows a drop down and you can choose which columns you want to appear on the screen. You can choose as many or as few columns as you like.
My Views: Gives the user the ability to create custom saved filters that they may run at any time to help filter through data quickly.
Displays the manage screens in full-screen mode. Press Alt + F to toggle between full-screen and the standard view.
Search bar: The search bar lets you enter Knowledge Base information—such as Atricle Name, Description, Keywords, and more—and displays any matching results. Press Enter to initiate the search. Please note, you can only search fields that appear in sortable columns, indicated by the up and down arrows next to the column headers.
Column Header/Filters: Columns with up and down arrows next to their headers can be sorted. Some of these columns support free-text search, while others offer a dropdown menu of selectable options—indicated by the word “Select” in the search box. The available columns in this section are determined by your selections using the Columns button. By default, only completed surveys are displayed.
Global search bar: Use the global search bar to quickly find Knowledge Base articles by typing in keywords.
Page Number: Indicates the current page number within the selected data, with the active page highlighted in Blue. You can navigate by clicking individual page numbers or by using the Next and Previous buttons. The first and last page numbers are always visible, allowing you to quickly jump to the beginning or end of the data set.
At the end of the column header row, you'll find a Clear Filters button. Clicking this will remove all filters currently applied to the page.
