Article summary

To edit a part record, open the Parts > Manage screen. You can select a record to edit by either clicking the hyperlinked field in its row or by clicking the edit icon located on the far right of the row.

When the Edit Part screen opens, an additional section will appear at the bottom of the page to help you track site inventory for that part. From this section, you can add, remove, or transfer parts between sites using the available Actions tools.  

If you click on the  + or -  a box will appear for you to add or subtract a part to inventory.  The transfer button will bring up the following box for you to select a new To Site to transfer the part.  The Transaction Category and Quantiy are required fields.  The Transaction Category list is setup in the Settings > Parts > Transaction Categories screen.

The Activity Log button will bring up the following screen for you to Click the Activity Log button to view a detailed history of changes, including the date and time of each update and the user who made them. You can also search the log by entering keywords into the Search Changes field.  If the Part has a large amount of activity, a scroll bar appears on the right side of the window.
